MRS. DONALD SPICER PRESIDENT
GENERAL NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION ADMINISTRATION
BUILDING, 1776 D STREET, N. W. WASHINGTON, D.C.20006
To the People of the United States of America:
This magnificent country in which we live has produced, and will continue
to produce, many artists who, through their diligent efforts and
dedication to their art, eventually succeed in bringing their works to the
attention of their fellow countrymen overcoming the many frustrations of
their chosen profession.
One such artist, Mr. Dallas Corey, has put into art form a story that is
of the utmost importance to every citizen of this nation, a story that is
a critical part of the learning process of each and every child, a story
that should remind the young adults of America of the many sacrifices made
by their forefathers which enable us to enjoy the luxury of freedom that
we often take for granted. Finally, Mr. Corey has put this story in an
entertaining form that will serve as a refresher course to those who have
already learned. It is for these reasons that the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, recommends this album to every man, woman and child who lives in freedom as a result of the events related in this musical history. Mrs. Donald Spicer President General, NSDAR |

In recent years there has been a tremendous revival of stories told in
music form. None could be more interesting or educational than is
exemplified in this recording of the American Revolutionary War. Mr.
Dallas Cory has produced a very worthy combination of song and narration
that should inspire all people who are concerned with the birth of their
freedom.
It is a sincere privilege for The National Society, Sons of the American
Revolution, to endorse this record as a reminder and review of our history
which brought about our independence as a nation and will soon be
celebrated everywhere with our Bicentennial.
It is recommended for all to hear and to enjoy, with the hope of a rebirth
of our patriotic spirit and a rededication to those principles which have
made this country strong. Sincerely, Eugene C. McGuire President
