Chart Records Album & Singles Discography |
Some sixty-six albums and approximately 565 singles were released by Chart Records & it subsidararies between 1962 and 1975. The Williamsons had the helm between 1964 and 1974. All the LP's except the very last one was under the direction of either Slim or Cliff Williamson as was over 90% of the singles. Vance Bulla mainly had control of Sugar Hill. Chart's first LP was Jim Nesbitt's "Sings Your Favorite Comedy & Heart Songs" in 1964. The last LP was Red Sovine's "It'll Come Back" in 1974. During that decade this modest record company released some serious country music! Each album artist has his or her own space here. I will provide as much information on each artist as I can. Some artists have either spoken to me in person or via e-mail & letters. I really appreciate all the help and information everyone have given me. The links below will show you the various listings of records that were associated with the Chart label. As noted in the individual lists, if the artist or title is unknown for a particular record it will either be blank or state "unknown". In these instances, I urge you to contact me on the Facebook page with the correct information if you have it available. Since 1997 I have been collecting the albums and 45's that were released by Chart Records and their subsidiaries. Amazingly, I have been able to obtain well over 95% of the entire product catalog. |
